After some careless play in the Ernesto Guevara SyD defense, Ismael Acuña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Belasko. The Ernesto Guevara SyD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Belasko should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Tomi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Ekialde's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Osvaldo Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Ekialde in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ernesto Guevara SyD's Nunez Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Acuña in the 63rd minute of play. Osvaldo Tomi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cecilio Joanes. Elvio Orlan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. During the 73rd minute of the match Eustaquio Oxarra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eustaquio Oxarra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 73rd match minute, Regresado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ernesto Guevara SyD booed when Regresado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zacarias Ekialde fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Nunez Belasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Regresado booed when Ernesto Guevara SyD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Acuña hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Zacarias Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Tomi made a huge save. Nunez Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Escobar in the 93rd minute of play. Ernesto Guevara SyD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
