Vito Romeu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugênio Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Fandiño in the 18th minute of play forced MILAN F C's goalkeeper Eugênio Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugênio Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perutxo Echaniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Orkatz Domaquia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitinho Pinheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafel Llama came out and tried to block the shot, but Vitinho Pinheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho da Costa in the 33rd minute of play forced JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Rafel Llama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raí Berger during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frutos Cardeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Eugênio Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Vito Romeu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Romeu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralondo Bueres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frutos Cardeiro made a kick off. If Frutos Cardeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 52 played minutes MILAN F C got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Peixoto. After a defensive mix-up in MILAN F C's zone, Frutos Cardeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugênio Brasil came out of the goal and Frutos Cardeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugênio Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Romeu's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Frutos Cardeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Ralondo Bueres got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of MILAN F C booed when JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oinaz Sotolongo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MILAN F C's Aníbal Quintal got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, MILAN F C's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Romeu came free, but Eugênio Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC booed when MILAN F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Vito Romeu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MILAN F C's Eugênio Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
