Kiko Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Edmílson Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oranil and the FC Beatriz 08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmílson Catarinense hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Rodrigues in the 10th minute of play. FC Beatriz 08's Angélico Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Catarinense in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio das Neves in the 14th minute of play forced FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper Angélico Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes, Moisés de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oranil and the FC Beatriz 08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Moisés de Sousa. The audience was convinced that Kléber Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angélico Borges was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Pedro Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Oranil booed when FC Beatriz 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Proença came free, but Angélico Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Saldanha scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angélico Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angélico Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmílson Catarinense went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Edmílson Catarinense took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angélico Borges. Angélico Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kléber Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Beatriz 08 booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Mário Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio das Neves kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 69thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Beatriz 08's keeper Angélico Borges was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 78th minute, Kléber Saldanha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Angélico Borges, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 82 minutes, Kléber Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oranil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Angélico Borges successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kléber Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angélico Borges having to make a save. Oranil's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
