The Papilio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Lundin got free with Natanael Alvarenga in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natanael Alvarenga made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Hannes Lundin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to VERONA FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alessandro Mello hit a great ball. Papilio's Gustaf Fernström got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes, Felippe Teles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VERONA FC and the Papilio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, VERONA FC's Felippe Teles got a free kick in the 27th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Gustaf Fernström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Natanael Alvarenga, 3-0. Natanael Alvarenga didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. 48 minutes into the match, VERONA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Fernström came free, but Natanael Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When Gustaf Fernström came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Papilio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Fernström couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Papilio fully deserved thier win.
