BloodHounds F.C.'s Enzo Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Vincente in the 27th minute of play. When Melquiades Poz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BloodHounds F.C.'s protests and gave Melquiades Poz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BloodHounds F.C. booed when LOS TRIPODES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The BloodHounds F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LOS TRIPODES were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Balasi was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in LOS TRIPODES's zone, Anacleto Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Honrio came out of the goal and Anacleto Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd match minute, LOS TRIPODES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Naldo to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Poz in the 63rd minute of play. Ovidio Regis's late challenge caught a BloodHounds F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Regis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BloodHounds F.C. booed when LOS TRIPODES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, LOS TRIPODES's Ildefonso Escobar got a free kick in the 66th minute. Melquiades Poz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Maximiliano Honrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BloodHounds F.C.. Melquiades Poz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of LOS TRIPODES booed when BloodHounds F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Ishmael's late challenge caught a BloodHounds F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Honrio having to interfere. The LOS TRIPODES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOS TRIPODES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
