Carlos Manuel Goyeneche came out of the goal and Ştefan Moculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 played minutes Plebeyos got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Justin. Plebeyos's Carlos Manuel Goyeneche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Moculescu in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Abalos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manole Robu saved The Valar from getting behind. After 24 played minutes Plebeyos got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Justin. Iosif Săvescu lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 26th minute, Iosif Săvescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Robu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Emanuel Şelaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche made a huge save. When Rareș Ţeica fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Valar's protests and gave Rareș Ţeica a yellow card for diving instead. Rareș Ţeica kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Abalos was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis María Rodriguez got free with Manole Robu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leandro Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Manole Robu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Şelaru in the 60th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel Goyeneche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Pascu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Plebeyos's Paulo Servando was substituted for Hermengildo Suero. After 66 played minutes The Valar got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Pascu. In the 67th minute, Paulo Servando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by The Valar's Pompiliu Bugariu. But to his dismay, Pompiliu Bugariu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luis María Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Plebeyos's Constantino Garcia was substituted for Valentin Abalos. After 75 played minutes Plebeyos got a freekick which was hit by Luis María Rodriguez. 77 minutes into the game, Emanuel Şelaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Veremundo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Veremundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Plebeyos getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Bugariu in the 90th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel Goyeneche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Valar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Plebeyos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
