After 3 played minutes Vorwärts Lübeck got a freekick which was hit by Eckart Wojewski. In the 3rd minute of the match Miroslaw Glozor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronny Jarstein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 5th minute Alfred Boymanns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Brack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Puchlik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Vorwärts Lübeck's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Rydzyk came free, but Ronny Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vorwärts Lübeck getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Karl Wissing hit a great ball. Concordia Knurów's Slawomir Puchlik got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Boymanns had several of the Concordia Knurów's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Janusz Brack as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Alfred Boymanns took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Janusz Brack to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute, Emanuel Nittel made a precise shot to the right of Janusz Brack. Concordia Knurów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cem Bauer hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Bernhard Stammler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Concordia Knurów's Boleslaw Mentis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karl Wissing in the 35 minute of the game. Ronny Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Puchlik in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Slawomir Puchlik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concordia Knurów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slawomir Puchlik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Boymanns in the 45th minute of play forced Concordia Knurów's goalkeeper Janusz Brack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concordia Knurów's Janusz Brack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Boymanns in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Concordia Knurów getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Slawomir Puchlik hit a great ball. Janusz Brack came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vorwärts Lübeck's Emanuel Nittel. But to his dismay, Emanuel Nittel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Janusz Brack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Boymanns in the 60th minute of the match. Ronny Jarstein made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Slawomir Puchlik sent off a good shot on target. Slawomir Puchliks short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Ronny Jarstein to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 71 in the game by Slawomir Puchlik from a close distance when the talented Ronny Jarstein managed to make a qualified save. Vorwärts Lübeck's players were relieved. Ronny Jarstein was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Miroslaw Glozor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miroslaw Glozor really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Concordia Knurów's Miroslaw Glozor got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Bernhard Stammler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Bernhard Stammler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vorwärts Lübeck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Concordia Knurów the free kick. Bernhard Stammler hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vorwärts Lübeck had won after a very even match.
