After 16 minutes, Régis Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internazionale-RS and the All Stars Gent players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Régis Valladares got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 20th match minute, All Stars Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Tombuer to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Meynen made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Zézinho Pinho sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Santana got free with Andreas Meynen in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to All Stars Gent getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ernest Tailleur hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, All Stars Gent's Aaron De Reijck got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes All Stars Gent got a freekick which was hit by Wes Goemyne.

The wind increased when Aaron De Reijck made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, All Stars Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gillis Raeimakers to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Meynen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Santana in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the All Stars Gent defense, Bruno Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Meynen. The All Stars Gent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Meynen should have stopped the shot. After 70 minutes, Gunther Hollants mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All Stars Gent and the Internazionale-RS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
