All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Herrera was the one to do the kick off. Adolfo Macario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Herrera's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. TEMPLE F.C.'s Adolfo Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Orlanda in the 53rd minute of play. Joaquin Lorenz charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The phoinix fc fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when phoinix fc's Ernesto Herrera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Urbano Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, phoinix fc's Ulises Orlanda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Macario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. TEMPLE F.C.'s Joaquin Lorenz got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. A collision led to phoinix fc getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ulises Orlanda hit a great ball. Adolfo Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Herrera in the 95th minute of play.
