The referee ignored ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's protests and gave Horacio Confesor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Horacio Confesor hit a great ball. Alfredo Rencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Salmuera CP got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Primeiro. Anibal Fidencio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benjamin Pudes. After a rather tough play, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Ramon Lalla got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Salmuera CP's Guaberto Daunte got a free kick in the 17th minute. Remigio Roldan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Weterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anibal Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Gartzea in the 32nd minute of the match. Modesto Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Primeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Salmuera CP's Lucio Primeiro in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goalie prevented a goal. Anibal Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Gartzea in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Samuel Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Benjamin Pudes from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Anibal Fidencio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauricio Gartzea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Modesto Weterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Daunte in the 58th minute. Arnaldo Cresconio scored 1-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anibal Fidencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Jax came free, but Modesto Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Gartzea in the 72nd minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Anibal Fidencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Arnaldo Cresconio got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute Horacio Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Fidencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Confesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Confesor in the 87th minute of the match. Saturnino Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Salmuera CP's Lucio Primeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Weterio. Modesto Weterio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 95th minute Saturnino Furtado suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Guaberto Daunte charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Daunte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guaberto Daunte kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
