August Odeen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. August Odeen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Magnus Åman went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Henry Benet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of August Odeen. Football Club Kekke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Benet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 24th match minute, Al-Kungshöjd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Ekenberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Football Club Kekke getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Torsten Lindell hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Marko Ekenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Henry Benet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but August Odeen skillfully saved the ball. Kaj Hellgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Al-Kungshöjd's Erland Lindmark got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Al-Kungshöjd defense, Edvin Gustavsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaj Hellgren. The Al-Kungshöjd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaj Hellgren should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Evert Rolfsson in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Football Club Kekke's Karl-Johan Sundberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Åman in the 46th minute of play forced Football Club Kekke's goalkeeper August Odeen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Al-Kungshöjd were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvin Gustavsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Lindell in the 51st minute of play forced Al-Kungshöjd's goalkeeper Kaj Hellgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Benet got free with August Odeen in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaj Hellgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kaj Hellgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Sandberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Filiph Sandberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaj Hellgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 59 minutes into the match, Al-Kungshöjd's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Gustavsson came free, but Kaj Hellgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Al-Kungshöjd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Benet to maneuver through the defense. Football Club Kekke's August Odeen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Football Club Kekke from getting a goal against them. Kaj Hellgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Lindell in the 64th minute of play. Roland Ekelund charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Ekelund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Al-Kungshöjd made a substitution. Patrik Alebom replaced Rolf Bolin. 66 minutes into the game, one of Al-Kungshöjd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Al-Kungshöjd's Erland Lindmark got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes, Football Club Kekke's Robert Överman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kaj Hellgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Football Club Kekke reached it. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Henry Benet took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for August Odeen to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th match minute, Football Club Kekke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Filiph Sandberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jörn Palmquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Odeen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Football Club Kekke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. August Odeen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Patrik Alebom. August Odeen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Vidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Al-Kungshöjd's Jörn Palmquist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. In the 88th match minute, Football Club Kekke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. August Odeen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Åman in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Football Club Kekke got a freekick which was hit by Filiph Sandberg. August Odeen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Vidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Football Club Kekke fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Al-Kungshöjd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
