SLB TELHA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seggiano the free kick. Eduardo Santana hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Regueira to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Federici came free, but Manuel Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Federici in the 29th minute of the match. The wind increased when Corrado Federici made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Hildeberto Nóbrega. After a defensive mix-up in SLB TELHA's zone, Dennis Fortuna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Esteves came out of the goal and Dennis Fortuna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 minutes, Elia Borel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seggiano and the SLB TELHA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Seggiano getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Elia Borel hit a great ball. The supporters of Seggiano booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Corrado Federici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. SLB TELHA's Eduardo Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the SLB TELHA defense, Corrado Federici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Esteves. The SLB TELHA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Esteves should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Seggiano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SLB TELHA throughout the match.
