Chrisostomos Grimsø might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iban Cavada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chrisostomos Grimsø ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Chrisostomos Grimsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iban Cavada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Karen FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Tobias Godholm hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aiolos Oolo in the 14th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Eric Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aiolos Oolo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Andberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Eric Andberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lander Andonegui went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eric Andberg was a little too slow when Galindo Duarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chrisostomos Grimsø to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Truebano came free, but Eric Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Andberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Truebano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chrisostomos Grimsø came free, but Iban Cavada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Nyberg's late challenge caught a Aioros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulf Nyberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Ulf Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aioros FC's Ferran Durana was substituted for Aiolos Oolo. The supporters of Aioros FC booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferran Durana came free, but Eric Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Galindo Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's Galindo Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Andberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eric Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galindo Duarte in the 71st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Karen FC defense, Galindo Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Andberg. The Karen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Andberg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahiano Neila in the 75th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Eric Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Galindo Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Andberg. Karen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Galindo Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 84th minute Leon Truebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Andberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Ferran Durana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Eric Andberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aioros FC had played much better football throughout.
