Rafael Martino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Venceslao during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Dogo Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Mannie in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Elequemedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dogo Argentino's Javier Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Oxel in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Florentino Mannie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Dogo Argentino's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Mannie came free, but Javier Elequemedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Rafael Martino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Javier Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Mannie in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Amadeo Oxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Elequemedo having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Dogo Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Loren to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Dogo Argentino's Mateo Tohias seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mateo Tohias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dogo Argentino protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mateo Tohias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 62 played minutes Dogo Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Tohias. 66 minutes into the match, Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Javier Elequemedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeo Oxel. Club Sportivo Italiano's Rafael Martino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Errolan in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Fernan Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Dogo Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Cisco to maneuver through the defense. Club Sportivo Italiano's Segundo Urtun took a good shot, in the 82nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Javier Elequemedo's head, and flew over the goal. Dogo Argentino's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Club Sportivo Italiano. After some careless play in the Club Sportivo Italiano defense, Tadeo Errolan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Martino. The Club Sportivo Italiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Martino should have stopped the shot. Rafael Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Errolan in the 93rd minute of play. Raimundo Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Sportivo Italiano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
