Meelis Aalto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cyryl Bartoszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehis Kroon, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Ando Pahasoo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 minutes, Holger Herde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rebel and the FC Saxon players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when FC Rebel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Herde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukasz Adamowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. FC Saxon's Witalis Buda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Meelis Aalto but with some difficulty. Zbigniew Mentis kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ando Pahasoo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, FC Rebel's Mehis Kroon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 60 played minutes FC Rebel got a freekick which was hit by Aadu Randmaa.
