If Christof Lenaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenn Van Buyten in the 14th minute of play forced Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalkeeper Ulaş Baliç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apricis Bruxella's Luke Gevaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedir Akbayrak in the 16th minute of play. Luke Gevaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behçet Canol in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Neşat Kadrihan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luke Gevaert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulaş Baliç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenn Van Buyten in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kenn Van Buyten could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Ulaş Baliç however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Behçet Canol got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ulaş Baliç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobus Jaspers, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Apricis Bruxella players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenn Van Buyten to make the kick off. The supporters of Apricis Bruxella booed when Futbol Sevenler Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekeriya Perva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, one of Futbol Sevenler Kulübü:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Futbol Sevenler Kulübü. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Apricis Bruxella. Jacobus Jaspers stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ulaş Baliç. 1-1. 57 minutes into the game, Alex Hairpoel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apricis Bruxella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Sevenler Kulübü the free kick. Alex Hairpoel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Apricis Bruxella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andris De Pauw to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Apricis Bruxella's zone, Neşat Kadrihan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke Gevaert came out of the goal and Neşat Kadrihan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nebi Afacan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Apricis Bruxella got a freekick which was hit by Christof Lenaerts. Yağız Uluberk hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Neşat Kadrihan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luke Gevaert, 1-2. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü played a much better game than Apricis Bruxella and deserved their victory. The Apricis Bruxella players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
