When Kareem Dajaj fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Líbano's protests and gave Kareem Dajaj a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Líbano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kareem Dajaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes, Stig Browall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK and the Líbano players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Alexander Dahlbom managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Líbano's Ibrahim Nadal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sabri El Aska made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Browall in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibrahim Nadal in the 18th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Alexander Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Líbano booed when Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Free Beer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Dahlbom came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Líbano's Wassim Imad. But to his dismay, Wassim Imad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Alexander Dahlbom got control of the ball when Wassim Imad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Michael Larsson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Líbano's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Browall came free, but Sabri El Aska reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Browall in the 36th minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Sabri El Aska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarwat Abdul Hasib was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th match minute, Líbano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarwat Abdul Hasib to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Hubert Eklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

57 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ibrahim Nadal came free, but Alexander Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leif Söderqwist hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jihad Wahbi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Alexander Dahlbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bashar Yaseen's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Karl-Michael Larsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sabri El Aska saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sabri El Aska made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Stig Browall sent off a good shot on target. Christopher Stålberg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
