Roy Van der Voert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernand Waterloos in the 14th minute. Mané de Godoi came out of the goal and Fernand Waterloos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Gabriel Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
