The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís França kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vladimiro Abeijon. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Lourenço Bacelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Bento in the 10th minute of the match. Vladimiro Abeijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís França in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Tori FC's Camilo Benvide got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Terceirense F.C.'s António Silva got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Carolo Joachim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tori FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Joachim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Abeijon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Tori FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Sacramento came free, but Vladimiro Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Tori FC's Vladimiro Abeijon got control of the ball when Luís França tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimiro Abeijon made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Luís França sent off a good shot on target. Terceirense F.C.'s Luís França got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Terceirense F.C.'s Teodoro Meira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After some careless play in the Tori FC defense, Luís França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Abeijon. The Tori FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Abeijon should have stopped the shot. Vladimiro Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Meira in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Meira to make the kick off. Vladimiro Abeijon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís França went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 61st match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Bentes to maneuver through the defense. Terceirense F.C.'s Lourenço Bacelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Benvide in the 63rd minute of play. Vladimiro Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Meira in the 66th minute of the match. Vladimiro Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Camilo Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Luís França had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Abeijon. Tori FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís França was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Cristo Erdiano scored 8-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lourenço Bacelar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristo Erdiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Abeijon came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Terceirense F.C.'s Teodoro Meira. But to his dismay, Teodoro Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. The supporters of Tori FC booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Terceirense F.C. fully deserved thier win.
