Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Procopio Masses played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Hanni in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan booed when 0 descensos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Procopio Masses got control of the ball when Guido Platon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Procopio Masses took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egoitz Helica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Cordero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, one of 0 descensos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 0 descensos. Procopio Masses came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by 0 descensos's Tomás Gergori. But to his dismay, Tomás Gergori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Alejandro Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remigio Morentin made a kick off. In the 54th minute Alejandro Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Procopio Masses saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's zone, Andres Lucero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Procopio Masses came out of the goal and Andres Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Tomás Gergori notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Procopio Masses. Procopio Masses was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alejandro Hanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Procopio Masses tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan defense, Andres Lucero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Procopio Masses. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Procopio Masses should have stopped the shot. Andres Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Procopio Masses having to interfere. Lalo Langayo's late challenge caught a 0 descensos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lalo Langayo helped the player get up and apologised. Alejandro Hanni hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Tomás Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tito Cianca in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Berriotxoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th match minute, 0 descensos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Quintana to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Morentin. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's zone, Tomás Gergori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Procopio Masses came out of the goal and Tomás Gergori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 0 descensos had played much better football throughout.
