Valhalla F.C.'s Beila Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Odin in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Eket BK's Kurt Dalström got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Beila Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Odin in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Valhalla F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Nardo Massana hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Valhalla F.C. defense, Fabian Odin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beila Abaunza. The Valhalla F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beila Abaunza should have stopped the shot. After 33 minutes, Rioja Estebanez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valhalla F.C. and the Eket BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Valhalla F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rioja Estebanez to maneuver through the defense. Eket BK's Sebastian Bäck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Eket BK from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Bäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Losa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nalo Perdices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Eket BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aimar Ojesto in the 52nd minute of play forced Eket BK's goalkeeper Sebastian Bäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Valhalla F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Edmundo Llibre hit a great ball. Sebastian Bäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimar Ojesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the game, one of Valhalla F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Eket BK's Christopher Rolandsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Beila Abaunza. After 64 minutes of play, Eket BK's Torgny Ivarsson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beila Abaunza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bengt-Arne Dalman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Arne Dalman during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eket BK:s Sebastian Bäck showed great skill when he stopped Nalo Perdices:s penalty. Gustau Salamanca's late challenge caught a Eket BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustau Salamanca helped the player get up and apologised. Gustau Salamanca hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Sebastian Bäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Losa in the 79th minute of play. Nalo Perdices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Valhalla F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Eket BK to win.
