Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andréas Hedling started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, San Martin de Tucuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes San Martin de Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Lluques. Evaristo Giraldo charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Giraldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, San Martin de Tucuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Hedling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andréas Hedling in the 11th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Epifanio Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Söderman having to interfere. Evert Hultin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Andréas Hedling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Epifanio Markel came out and tried to block the shot, but Andréas Hedling slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Evert Hultin's late challenge caught a San Martin de Tucuman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evert Hultin helped the player get up and apologised. Mansfield Town FC's Georg Söderman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Blai in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Andréas Hedling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Hedling in the 32nd minute of the match. Evaristo Giraldo got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Evaristo Giraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Christian Guillelmo got a free kick in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Mansfield Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Blai came free, but Georg Söderman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Blai in the 38th minute of play forced Mansfield Town FC's goalkeeper Georg Söderman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Martin de Tucuman's Epifanio Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Hedling in the 40th minute of play. Epifanio Markel came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mansfield Town FC's Pelle Abrahamsson. But to his dismay, Pelle Abrahamsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mansfield Town FC! Epifanio Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Björnsson in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Flavio Blai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georg Söderman was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Blai got free with Georg Söderman in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Blai in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Georg Söderman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Mansfield Town FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mats Bank hit a great ball. Sergio Vasco, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Mansfield Town FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dennis Sjöman hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Mansfield Town FC's Andréas Hedling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Markel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when Mansfield Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Sjöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Astor Kepa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Martin de Tucuman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mansfield Town FC the free kick. Astor Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to San Martin de Tucuman getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Claudio Hondo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Sundström in the 90th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Epifanio Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmie Alström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. Georg Söderman had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Sergio Vasco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Flavio Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Georg Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mansfield Town FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
