When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Jacques Buendia took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Karel Fic to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, James Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot. La mano de D10S's supporters rose to their feet, but James Caballero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karel Fic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karel Fic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacques Buendia's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Karel Fic stood somewhat misplaced when James Caballero came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. 24 minutes into the match, James Caballero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karel Fic. AFC Cherries's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that James Caballero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. La mano de D10S's Nicanor Casals played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Ulrich in the 30th minute of play. When Adolfo Ocaña fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La mano de D10S's protests and gave Adolfo Ocaña a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Ocaña kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Karel Fic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacques Buendia in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AFC Cherries's Edvard Kotouč got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of La mano de D10S booed when AFC Cherries was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Jordán didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Hermenegildo Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karel Fic made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when James Caballero sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 4-0 when James Caballero sped through AFC Cherries's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karel Fic. Karel Fic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacques Buendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when František Jakubec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karel Fic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacques Buendia in the 55th minute of play. Karel Fic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venceslás Vagrande in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of AFC Cherries booed when La mano de D10S was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. La mano de D10S's Celestino Dominguez was substituted for Adolfo Ocaña. La mano de D10S made a substitution. Paulino Marquez replaced Iván Rua. La mano de D10S's Bittor Figueres was substituted for Mambru Esperta. Petr Musílek lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. It was beautiful to see La mano de D10S's Paulino Marquez in action when he in the 70th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 82 minutes into the match, AFC Cherries's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Buendia came free, but Karel Fic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La mano de D10S were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after AFC Cherries's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermenegildo Quintero took the corner. La mano de D10S's Hermenegildo Quintero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karel Fic in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When James Caballero came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the La mano de D10S fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Caballero couldn't finish the play. Karel Fic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of James Caballero's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute James Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karel Fic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
