Renaud Berthier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 36 minutes on the clock, Yusuf Bahadır Açıkgöz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Alexandrie CF's Renaud Berthier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgay Vecdet in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match 61 Büyük Türk FK got a corner. Alexandrie CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafet Türeli ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led 61 Büyük Türk FK's Rafet Türeli to fire away a dangerous shot which Renaud Berthier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Claude Francois hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Frédéric Febvre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efekan Vacit skillfully saved the ball. Turgay Vecdet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Orhan Özdil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 61 Büyük Türk FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Özdil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, 61 Büyük Türk FK's Umut Özgebay got a free kick in the 77th minute. Claude Francois hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
