A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Delmar Vigil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tytus Frenzel firmly grabbed it by the left post. 15 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Turi came free, but Tytus Frenzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Izydor Czaplicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kryspin Mitus hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes, Ricardo Weterio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA and the KS Olimpia Warszawa players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Tytus Frenzel threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ricardo Weterio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Delmar Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Vigil couldn't finish the play. Juliusz Bubczyk's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
