In the 33rd minute, Aimé Ham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Kent Chesnay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flames FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Chesnay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Herensuge got free with Margarito Santana in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceferino Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Margarito Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Margarito Santana was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Eleuterio Tab capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eleuterio Tab really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Margarito Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Jorrin in the 45th minute of play. If Arnoldo Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Jorrin made a kick off. Faustino Gaztea kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ellsworth Erwin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Margarito Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Jorrin in the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th minute Elpidio Jorrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Margarito Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Chesnay during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes, Despidida AFC's Roberto Herensuge shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Margarito Santana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Despidida AFC reached it. Nereo Nevada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aimé Ham in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Arnoldo Iyan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Margarito Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Elpidio Jorrin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Margarito Santana. Flames FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Jorrin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 70th minute Arnoldo Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Margarito Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flames FC's Margarito Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Tab in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Kent Chesnay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despidida AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
