Vodka Stars 1949's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La MaKina del Parque the free kick. In the 5th minute, Ametz Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Uxio got free with Marquez Checa in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorino Uxio had several of the Vodka Stars 1949's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Marquez Checa as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Sanz in the 20th minute of play forced La MaKina del Parque's goalkeeper Pablo Jacindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With splendid footwork Victorino Uxio arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Norberto Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquez Checa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Uxio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Marquez Checa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Victorino Uxio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 28th playminute. Victorino Uxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Jacindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubarna Carro in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubarna Carro in the 44th minute of play forced La MaKina del Parque's goalkeeper Pablo Jacindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Uxio was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to La MaKina del Parque getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Norberto Chus hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Ariando Vila. Marquez Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Vodka Stars 1949 got a freekick which was hit by Ametz Mata. The audience was convinced that Victorino Uxio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marquez Checa was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st match minute, Vodka Stars 1949 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Winehouse to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes, La MaKina del Parque's Evelio Odol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marquez Checa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La MaKina del Parque reached it. Cleto Cordeara kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Javier Emeterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, La MaKina del Parque's Javier Emeterio got a free kick in the 69th minute. Marquez Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Chus in the 71st minute of play. Marquez Checa came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by La MaKina del Parque's Victorino Uxio. But to his dismay, Victorino Uxio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 76 played minutes La MaKina del Parque got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Richie. Renato Sanz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pablo Jacindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vodka Stars 1949's zone, Basilio Richie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquez Checa came out of the goal and Basilio Richie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Winehouse's late challenge caught a La MaKina del Parque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Winehouse helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La MaKina del Parque booed when Vodka Stars 1949 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Winehouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Norberto Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La MaKina del Parque's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
