The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Gerjan de Visser came free, but Emil Rzentkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FFC Merainies 03's Taco Joppets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, one of DS ACADEMY TEAM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DS ACADEMY TEAM. Emil Rzentkowski had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Rolf Mulders's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rolf Mulders did an outstanding performance 18 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-2 to the right of an irritated Emil Rzentkowski in the goal. 24 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Ab Hoogenkamp came free, but Emil Rzentkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the DS ACADEMY TEAM defense, Niek Witting kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Rzentkowski. The DS ACADEMY TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Rzentkowski should have stopped the shot. Emil Rzentkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerjan de Visser in the 28th minute of the match. When FFC Merainies 03's Rolf Mulders in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalie prevented a goal. Cyprian Parzysz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rolf Mulders might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Rzentkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolf Mulders ran back to his position shaking his head. Emil Rzentkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerjan de Visser went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the DS ACADEMY TEAM defense, Rolf Mulders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Rzentkowski. The DS ACADEMY TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Rzentkowski should have stopped the shot. Emil Rzentkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerjan de Visser in the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerjan de Visser to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerjan de Visser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Emil Rzentkowski made a huge save. Maksymilian Mruk's late challenge caught a FFC Merainies 03's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maksymilian Mruk helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in DS ACADEMY TEAM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! 66 minutes into the game, Niek Witting cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Emil Rzentkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leon Derksen scored 0-8 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Rzentkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emil Rzentkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerjan de Visser in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Niek Witting dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emil Rzentkowski, 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolf Mulders kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emil Rzentkowski. That made the score 0-10 in the 81 minute of play. Ab Hoogenkamp hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Emil Rzentkowski made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gerjan de Visser sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Emil Rzentkowski got control of the ball when Rolf Mulders tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FFC Merainies 03 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DS ACADEMY TEAM.
