After 27 played minutes Hungarian Olympic got a freekick which was hit by János Dala. After 29 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Enișteanu. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Gică Curcă got a free kick in the 34th minute. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Corduneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Curcă to maneuver through the defense. Ábel Szentesi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihai Măliță's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

FC Fanaticii's Florin Pruneda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save FC Fanaticii from getting a goal against them. Gică Curcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ábel Szentesi having to interfere. Ábel Szentesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Măliță, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungarian Olympic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gică Curcă during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gică Curcă hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Corduneanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Csaba Joó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Fanaticii's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
