The audience was convinced that Mihai Măliță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Izotz was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Azulgranas AFC's Oscar Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Curcă in the 19th minute of play. Oscar Izotz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eric Apostu. After 32 minutes, Placido Dominix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azulgranas AFC and the FC Fanaticii players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Azulgranas AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Placido Dominix hit a great ball. With his leg Oscar Izotz managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when FC Fanaticii's Mihai Măliță fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Curcă in the 40th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Oscar Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Fanaticii's Mihai Măliță got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Curcă in the 45th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Oscar Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Mălițăs short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Oscar Izotz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gică Curcă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Gică Curcă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
