The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes of play, Gonzo Style f.c's Alberto Firmani made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Nestor was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 7 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Onete. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Albert Nestor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FC PIETROSUL -MM- from getting a goal against them. Amedeo Signoretti hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Răzvan Şerbănescu hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Albert Nestor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Vieri. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Albert Nestor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC PIETROSUL -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Felix Chițu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Marsilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Chițu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Signoretti to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Vali Abutnăriței shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Marsilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Chițu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Chițu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Federico Marsilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Carlo Imperatore dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albert Nestor, 2-0. Albert Nestor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Firmani in the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damiano Mian was slow to take the kick. During this time Gonzo Style f.c's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Gonzo Style f.c's corner Damiano Mian fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albert Nestor quite easily take care of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Abutnăriței came free, but Federico Marsilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Augusto Vieri from a close distance when the talented Albert Nestor managed to make a qualified save. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s players were relieved. Albert Nestor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Imperatore in the 41st minute of play. After 45 minutes, Vali Abutnăriței mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC PIETROSUL -MM- and the Gonzo Style f.c players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vali Abutnăriței kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Vieri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Nestor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Firmani, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Albert Nestor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Vieri in the 74th minute of play. Felix Chițu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Marsilio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Chițu got free with Federico Marsilio in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonzo Style f.c's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
