After some careless play in the Nacional Potosí defense, Dan Vestlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boni Abad. The Nacional Potosí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boni Abad should have stopped the shot. Urban Dahlbom made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Leoncio Abadia sent off a good shot on target. Elias Hök scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boni Abad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Lastur Abarca. In the 31st minute of the match Max Lundgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boni Abad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valdemar Byström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Urban Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zxavian Abel in the 37th minute of the match. Arvid Klemensson scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boni Abad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boni Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dan Vestlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Boni Abad firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 84th minute Valdemar Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boni Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Hök kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boni Abad. That made the score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play.
