Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Catarinense F.C. defense, Jean Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Gaitan. The Catarinense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Gaitan should have stopped the shot. Benicio Gaitan came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Abel Almeida. But to his dismay, Abel Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Adolfo Ipar kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Abel Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Abel Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catarinense F.C. the free kick. Abel Almeida hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jean Ferraz took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Benicio Gaitan came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Tião Carneiro. But to his dismay, Tião Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Benicio Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Domingues in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Abel Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Carneiro in the 42nd minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Almeida in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Carneiro in the 46th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Abel Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. After the first half ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jean Ferraz made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Abel Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Gaitan, 1-7. Jean Ferraz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Benicio Gaitan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Tião Carneiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benicio Gaitan. The goal made the score 1-8. Tião Carneiro took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. In the 69th minute Tião Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Gaitan was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Tião Carneiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tião Carneiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-10. With a little luck, Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan got control of the ball when Tião Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Catarinense F.C.'s Anibal Quintan got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 87 minutes of play, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Jean Ferraz made it 1-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Gaitan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Catarinense F.C.'s Robustiano Calixto got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Ferraz. The Catarinense F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
