The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Avram Seremet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Nagy in the 3rd minute of play. Matei Onaca came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Álmos Kerékgyártó could save by the left post. In the 9th minute, Szabolcs Szarka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avram Seremet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakab Jászberényi in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jakab Jászberényi came free, but Avram Seremet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Zsombor Sugár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mircea Creangă kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Avram Seremet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sándor Simon in the 26th minute of play. Avram Seremet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Pană in the 41st minute of play forced ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goalkeeper Álmos Kerékgyártó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakab Jászberényi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Avram Seremet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Avram Seremet made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Balázs Kovács sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Nagy in the 56th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Avram Seremet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinánd Lévai. In the 58th minute Matei Onaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álmos Kerékgyártó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avram Seremet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Nagy in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Mircea Creangă got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Creangă. The crowd rose to their feet as Jakab Jászberényi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Avram Seremet. That made the score 0-1 in the 65 minute of play. Matei Onaca kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Manuel Burdujan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Patrik Nagy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Nagy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Avram Seremet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Nagy in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Nagy in the 84th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Avram Seremet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sándor Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Seremet having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Patrik Nagy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Avram Seremet. That made the score 0-2 after 91 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Lupescu in the 97th minute of play forced ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goalkeeper Álmos Kerékgyártó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
