Tor Njurenius kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Junilă in the 16th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Jonatan Wennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Njurenius hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jonatan Wennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Junilă in the 18th minute of the match. Kaj Möllgren hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Băieșu to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Mårten Vallander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Vallander to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Sonny Hjeltman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Seremet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mårten Vallander's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mårten Vallander helped the player get up and apologised. Mårten Vallander hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Matei Onaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Stiinta-Univ.'s Avram Seremet got control of the ball when Östen Ivarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sonny Hjeltman made the kick off in the second half. Vincent Boklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Seremet having to interfere. Sandu Junilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Wennerlund having to interfere. Tor Njurenius got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Vänge IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ingvar Grönlund in the 67th minute. After taking down the ball on Vänge IF's corner Ingvar Grönlund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Avram Seremet quite easily take care of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Östen Ivarsson came free, but Avram Seremet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Stiinta-Univ.'s Matei Onaca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonatan Wennerlund. That made the score 1-1 after 81 minutes of play. The supporters of Vänge IF booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Creangă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Snell hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Onaca came free, but Jonatan Wennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Matei Onaca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonatan Wennerlund. Matei Onaca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Stiinta-Univ. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Vänge IF's much stronger midfield.
