The audience was convinced that Dacian Patrichi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After 7 minutes of play, Rovine Craiova's Jerry Gane made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! INTERISTAS's Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Gane in the 9th minute of play. Rovine Craiova's Iordache Moisescu suffered a sore thigh after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rovine Craiova's Matei Comișel was substituted for Iordache Moisescu. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinon Anastasiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Patrichi in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to INTERISTAS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Theofilos Karypidis hit a great ball. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerry Gane went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Sandu Munteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Jerry Gane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTERISTAS's Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. INTERISTAS's Zinon Anastasiadis got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Rovine Craiova's Dacian Patrichi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 31 minutes INTERISTAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nistor Pătran who took care of the corner kick. Nistor Pătran made a great header on Rovine Craiova's corner, it was just that INTERISTAS's Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Gane in the 33rd minute of play forced INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Dorin Arșanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fanis Zavantias. After a rather tough play, INTERISTAS's Minas Rasoulis got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, one of INTERISTAS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for INTERISTAS. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Rovine Craiova. Jerry Gane stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos. 0-5. INTERISTAS's Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Comișel in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Nițescu came free, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerry Gane scored 0-6 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dacian Patrichi made the kick off in the second half. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jerry Gane showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 52 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jerry Gane kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos. That made the score 0-8 in the 57 minute of play. When Sandu Munteanu fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rovine Craiova's protests and gave Sandu Munteanu a yellow card for diving instead. Sandu Munteanu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Munteanu in the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 minutes INTERISTAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nistor Pătran who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Nistor Pătran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but INTERISTAS's Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos did a great save. If Dacian Patrichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Matei Comișel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Rovine Craiova's Jerry Gane. But to his dismay, Jerry Gane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Matei Comișel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dacian Patrichi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 79 minute of play. In the 82nd minute Sandu Munteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Dacian Patrichi made a precise shot to the right of Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos. INTERISTAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. 87 minutes into the game, Jerry Gane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dacian Patrichi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos made a huge save. After 93 minutes of play, Rovine Craiova's Jerry Gane made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rovine Craiova's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
