The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Alagoano got free with Gastão Camargo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well placed Rômulo Soares short distance shot in the 35th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Gastão Camargo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 39th minute. Rômulo Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gastão Camargo having to interfere. Eliseu Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Gastão Camargo made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascoal Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Massa during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Suprs Academia booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Massa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gastão Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Matorin in the 63rd minute of play. Gastão Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Matorin in the 65th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Matorin came free, but Gastão Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Alagoano in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gastão Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rômulo Soares in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gastão Camargo saved Suprs Academia from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Wilson Matorin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Suprs Academia's Gastão Camargo. Gastão Camargo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliseu Alagoano scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gastão Camargo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rômulo Soares hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Jairo Igrejas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Eliseu Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gastão Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Wilson Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Fajuth's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gastão Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Al-Fajuth's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
