Dedé Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy de Azevedo in the 4th minute of play forced BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goalkeeper Ademar Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Bezerros EC were awarded a corner. Cleiton Palmeira went to the cornerflag to take it. Leopoldo de Salles hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Elias Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, Bezerros EC's Cleiton Palmeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ademar Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bezerros EC reached it. In the 18th match minute, Bezerros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Camargo to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match, Germano Maia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lauro Hoffmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luiz Gustavo Maciels short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Lauro Hoffmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ademar Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Percy de Azevedo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ademar Magalhães. Percy de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Magalhães having to interfere. The supporters of BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER booed when Bezerros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Durval Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durval Trevisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ademar Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percy de Azevedo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Percy de Azevedo lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Ademar Magalhães. When Luiz Quadros fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bezerros EC's protests and gave Luiz Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Quadros. Durval Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Magalhães having to interfere. Percy de Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Ademar Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teodoro Guedes's late challenge caught a Bezerros EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Guedes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Luiz Quadros hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Gustavo Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademar Magalhães came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bezerros EC's Percy de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Percy de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 76 minutes, Durval Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bezerros EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Durval Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ademar Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Percy de Azevedos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Ademar Magalhães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 87 minutes, Percy de Azevedo made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ademar Magalhães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Germano Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Hoffmann having to interfere.
