Volodymyr Kychak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslaw Czeszejko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Olexiy Bykaniv's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslaw Czeszejko was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Volodymyr Kychak struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Miroslaw Czeszejko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC VERSHINA’dnipro. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
