An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 5th minute of play forced Riemannian's goalkeeper Valerio Quintanilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chico Campos. In the 17th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerio Quintanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Riemannian's Chico Campos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Peter Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valerio Quintanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Joel Enekoitz hit a great ball. Xesc Rallo came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicasio Abad could save by the left post. Michael Riells's late challenge caught a Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Riells helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Riells kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Peter Blomkvist made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Riemannian's Valerio Quintanilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Riemannian:s Valerio Quintanilla showed great skill when he stopped Peter Blomkvist:s penalty. Michael Riells was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 45th match minute, Riemannian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Riells to maneuver through the defense. Xesc Rallo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Chico Campos made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Riemannian's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peter Blomkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s players had a chance to rest. Valerio Quintanilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Blomkvist went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After having played for 68 minutes, Baldomero Ilazki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Ilazki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Enzo Elizardo replaced Antonio Alzamendi. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blas Frances in the 73rd minute. Baldomero Ilazki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valerio Quintanilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were awarded a corner. Blas Frances went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Blas Frances to fire away a dangerous shot which Valerio Quintanilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Ilazki in the 79th minute of play forced Riemannian's goalkeeper Valerio Quintanilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Campos in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Xesc Rallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Baldomero Ilazki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 88th minute Baldomero Ilazki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerio Quintanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Baldomero Ilazki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valerio Quintanilla. The goal made the score 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Riemannian.
