The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Odol got free with Nils-Erik Åhlberg in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Artemio Odol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Erik Åhlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A collision led to Runa United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jörgen Lundström hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Brogren came free, but Bernardo Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Artemio Odol took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Nils-Erik Åhlberg to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Rydberg in the 31st minute of play forced Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Brogren came free, but Bernardo Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Odol in the 44th minute of play forced Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Rydberg took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Loren. Bernardo Loren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Boumans made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Runa United's Aaron Lindberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. With an all-out effort, Runa United's Bernardo Loren threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bo Eriksson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the game, Bo Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Bernardo Loren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Odol in the 70th minute of play forced Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sacando del Medio's Bernardo Loren got control of the ball when Ted Almstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
