Gaudencio Frichoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber Cavalcante in the 7th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Kléber Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Paulo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Phelipe in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Godoi saved São Paulo F.C. from getting behind. After some careless play in the São Paulo F.C. defense, Emanuel Phelipe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Godoi. The São Paulo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Godoi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Phelipe in the 19th minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Herminio Lano threw the ball into play from the sideline. São Paulo F.C.'s Attila Keserű quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tiago Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Club Real Cantera were awarded a corner. Emanuel Phelipe went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Club Real Cantera's Antonio Ascencio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Kléber Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Emanuel Phelipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Buba Seco hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Phelipe in the 40th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Club Real Cantera were awarded a corner. Emanuel Phelipe went to the cornerflag to take it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kléber Cavalcante to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to São Paulo F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dorian Quadros hit a great ball. Emanuel Phelipe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiago Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Phelipe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Marcial Aznar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléber Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gaudencio Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. São Paulo F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Emanuel Phelipe scored to the left of an out of position Tiago Godoi, making the score, 0-6. Tiago Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Phelipe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 78 minute of play. In the 83rd minute Emanuel Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Godoi came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Real Cantera's Emanuel Phelipe. But to his dismay, Emanuel Phelipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. São Paulo F.C.'s Dorian Quadros managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Herminio Lano in the 90 minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Emanuel Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Tiago Godoi managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Club Real Cantera's Emanuel Phelipe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Club Real Cantera's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
