Viktor Szőlősi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martin Abadia firmly grabbed it by the left post. 4 minutes into the match, Fervent Stalkers's goal looked a bit too open when Máté Polgár came free, but Martin Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Budapest's Árpád Mészáros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Donostia in the 19th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Gyula Szigligeti in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fervent Stalkers's Julian Petri. The crowd rose to their feet as Máté Polgár kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Abadia. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. After 35 minutes FC Budapest's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eleuterio Donostia who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Eleuterio Donostia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Budapest's Árpád Mészáros did a great save. Árpád Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Rozarius in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Rudolfo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Árpád Mészáros saved FC Budapest from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dávid Tóth made the kick off in the second half. Anacleto Rozarius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Árpád Mészáros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dávid Tóth kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Budapest! In the 63rd minute Dávid Tóth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Fervent Stalkers's goal looked a bit too open when Máté Polgár came free, but Martin Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fervent Stalkers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Donostia in the 91st minute. A nice corner shot did that Eleuterio Donostia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Árpád Mészáros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Fervent Stalkers were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Budapest side.
