In the 7thth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murcia Promesas's Manuel Moya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Shi Li got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when Murcia Promesas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Velázquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Li in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Moya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Octavian Soare made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Gav Smith sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tebaldo Comas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Murcia Promesas's Otero Raya got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 18th minute of play forced Murcia Promesas's goalkeeper Manuel Moya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare got control of the ball when Gav Smith tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Shi Li left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galati Harbour Cats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rogelio Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Moya having to interfere. Shi Li might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Moya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shi Li ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Moya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Manuel Moya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Li in the 34th minute of play. Iordache Negrițoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Moya having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Manuel Moya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Inautzi's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Shi Li ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Moya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 62nd minute Rogelio Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Moya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murcia Promesas's Abram Elano was substituted for Gav Smith. Murcia Promesas made a substitution. Tome Martin replaced Ziggy Zaga. Otero Raya kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Manuel Moya was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Shi Li capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shi Li really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. If Shi Li had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Shi Li managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Li was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Shi Li reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Moya. The goal made the score 0-4. Manuel Moya made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Shi Li sent off a good shot on target.
