Mamede Alves made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Basílio Catarinense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damazy Polek to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Karanowski in the 52nd minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
