He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Limoeiro-PE FC reached it. In the 15th minute Giro Campomanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giro Campomanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Sobrino kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Allan Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Brandon Stamp fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.F Intercity's protests and gave Brandon Stamp a yellow card for diving instead. Brandon Stamp kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Zé Pedro Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivar Ribeiro in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Limoeiro-PE FC defense, Olivar Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Pedro Mandrak. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Pedro Mandrak should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Willian Vaz hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, C.F Intercity's Olivar Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Pedro Mandrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremie Van Nel made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Richard Neto sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Zé Pedro Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivar Ribeiro in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael Macedo during the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Melo to maneuver through the defense. Olivar Ribeiros short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Zé Pedro Mandrak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Olivar Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pedro Mandrak having to make a save. Limoeiro-PE FC's Zé Pedro Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Limoeiro-PE FC from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Olivar Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Zé Pedro Mandrak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.F Intercity's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doni Barbosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Limoeiro-PE FC's players had a chance to rest. Limoeiro-PE FC's attentive Ian Melo managed to snatch the ball when Brandon Stamp made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Willian Vaz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. C.F Intercity's Olivar Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.F Intercity eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
