Pieter Harmens hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Victoriano Porfiro made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Hanni. Jacksonville 67's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when Jacksonville 67 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Pankiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Porfiro in the 24th minute of the match. Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demis Son in the 29th minute of play. Rogelio Hanni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feijo Freire's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. King Batistuta took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Santirso. Beto Santirso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Burak Öz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beto Santirso. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. Beto Santirso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Cruz in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Cruz made a kick off. When Victoriano Porfiro came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Golden Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Porfiro couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers King Batistuta in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Santirso saved Golden Tigers from getting behind. Jacksonville 67 were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Golden Tigers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sven Horring took the corner. The corner led Jacksonville 67's Sven Horring to fire away a dangerous shot which Beto Santirso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Beto Santirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Gerrit Evenhuis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Romeo Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Beto Santirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Horring in the 87th minute of play. Rogelio Hanni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Porfiro's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Burak Öz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacksonville 67 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Golden Tigers had controlled the match.
