Mykyta Yaremenko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corrado Contestabile having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferruccio Festuccia got free with Ziemowit Domaracki in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ziemowit Domaracki was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Ferruccio Festuccia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferruccio Festuccia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Kryspin Oryniak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corrado Contestabile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes Hyblae FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baturalp Gündem who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Baturalp Gündem almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile did a great save. Corrado Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Oryniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match, Amedeo Giancola tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ziemowit Domaracki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 33 minutes into the match, Mario gool's goalkeeper Ziemowit Domaracki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amedeo Giancola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eigirdas Burnickas in the 42nd minute of play forced Mario gool's goalkeeper Ziemowit Domaracki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Alfredo Mammarella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferruccio Festuccia to strike the kick off in the second half. If Andrea Pasciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ziemowit Domaracki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Pasciu in the 93rd minute of play. Hyblae FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
