The audience thought a goal was coming when Hristo Stoichkov got free with Berthold Bach in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hristo Stoichkov. 9 minutes into the match, SvE United's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Voronin came free, but Tzvetoslav Desov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tzvetoslav Desov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bülent Ruge, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Anthoon Verduin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berthold Bach having to interfere. Erik Amend hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Berthold Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitko Kozlov in the 21st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute of the match SvE United got a corner. SV Klingsmoos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonny Kleen ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jonny Kleen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Berthold Bach quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SvE United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonny Kleen in the 82nd minute. The corner ended in Jonny Kleen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach did a great save. SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitko Kozlov in the 85th minute of play. Berthold Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthoon Verduin in the 88th minute of play. After 94 played minutes SV Klingsmoos got a freekick which was hit by Erik Amend. After 95 minutes of play, SvE United's Hristo Stoichkov made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berthold Bach was left in no man's land by his defense there! SvE United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SV Klingsmoos for a fine match.
