Célio Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, BOA VISTA E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hector Etxepare came free, but Célio Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Olympique Salonais booed when BOA VISTA E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander got a free kick in the 9th minute. Hector Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Célio Varela made a huge save. After 11 minutes of play, Olympique Salonais's Zheng Liang Song made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Célio Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, BOA VISTA E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Vander to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Alessandro Meirelles hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in BOA VISTA E.C.'s zone, Ma Chao Yong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Varela came out of the goal and Ma Chao Yong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Song Peng Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalkeeper Célio Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tang Xi Zhen. In the 22nd minute Song Peng Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, Olympique Salonais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Christophe Grenard to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Arlindo Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zheng Liang Song sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinho Cearense hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Zheng Liang Song dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Célio Varela, 2-0. Ghislain Lajus charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ghislain Lajus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olympique Salonais fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! 2-1 came in the 45th minute when Claudinho Cearense all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of François-Xavier Dionnet.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arlindo Vander to strike the kick off in the second half. Célio Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Song Peng Xi went, in the 50th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 53rd minute, Alessandro Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Zheng Liang Song shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zheng Liang Song received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Célio Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Zheng Liang Song ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Célio Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Arlindo Vander succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. Olympique Salonais's Cyrille Desplanches was substituted for Hector Etxepare. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zheng Liang Song in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Olympique Salonais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Song Peng Xi to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes Olympique Salonais got a freekick which was hit by Song Peng Xi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Peng Xi in the 83rd minute of play forced BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalkeeper Célio Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, BOA VISTA E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Song Peng Xi came free, but Célio Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. François-Xavier Dionnet came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander. But to his dismay, Arlindo Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Tang Xi Zhen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olympique Salonais's goalie prevented a goal. Olympique Salonais walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
